6 3/4" High. Designed by Stanley J. Taylor. Modelled on the likeness of Grinder Rowland Swindon, a grinder from Sheffield, England. It was commissioned by John Sinclair of Sheffield to commemorate the skill of the knife-maker and grinder as well as the scissor-hardener, buffer or mark-maker. The Little Mester is one of the traditional Sheffield craftsmen making the cutlery for which the city has been famous for 600 years. Limited edition of 3500 pieces.
